Success Profiles

At the Ministry of Justice, we use the Civil Service Success Profile Framework to assess candidates at both application and interview stage.

This creates fairer and more inclusive method of recruitment by enabling us to assess the range of experiences, abilities, strengths, behaviours and technical/professional skills required for different roles.

We recommend visiting Civil Service Success Profiles to find out as much as you can about Success Profiles. This will help you to understand the different aspects of the Success Profiles and how we assess them during our recruitment process.

Writing Your Application

All our SCS roles are varied and each brings with it different responsibilities. This means that each role requires different abilities, experience, technical skills and sometimes qualifications. You should fully consider the requirements for the role in order to create a strong application. You may not be progressed to the next stage of the assessment process if you do not provide this evidence.
