We’re here to support victims of violent crime
Where?
Glasgow
What do we do?
As an organisation we provide financial compensation to victims of violent crime in Scotland, England and Wales. We receive over 30,000 applications for compensation a year and while we know that financial compensation can never fully redress what victims may have suffered, what we do is an important part of providing justice for victims.
In our customer-facing roles you’ll support victims, and at times their families, who have been affected by violent crime claiming compensation for what they have suffered.
The claims we receive involve crimes of physical and sexual violence in which people have been injured or lost their lives. You will gather information from the police and medical authorities to make evidence-based decisions on entitlement to compensation according to the rules of the Criminal Injuries Compensation and the Victims of Overseas Terrorism schemes.
Our roles are very rewarding and you will be provided with comprehensive training and opportunities for career development, in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Who are we looking for?
We are a small, engaged, productive workforce with a real sense of corporate community and are recruiting for people who are bright, motivated, passionate about delivering excellent customer service and who want to use their talents to help make a difference to the lives of innocent victims of violent crime.
