I have Stargardt disease and was registered blind aged 22.

I went on a career break to raise a family but trying to get back into work was hard. It was disheartening to feel that my disability was holding be back and I felt like I'd lost my purpose.

HMCTS recognized the value I had to offer and I've been given the same opportunities without my visual impairment holding me back.
