Role: People Survey and EX insights coordinator

Role purpose and summary:
This role will support the SEO People Survey Manager during key operational phases, manage practical aspects of survey implementation, and contribute strategically to the trial and development of future People Survey components within an evolving Employee Experience framework.
This includes:
Implementing the evaluation strategies, plans and techniques that that are tailored and effectively assesses how the products, programmes and interventions across the leadership, talent and capability portfolios deliver a high quality, impactful and value for money service.
Utilising a range of evaluation models and techniques to produce in-depth evaluation reports that give clear, realistic, achievable and stretching recommendations to inform lessons learnt and improvements to future products and iterations. This will involve purposeful gathering and analysis of data, analysis from relevant sources about the quality, worth and impact of learning.
Effective collaboration across the wider team and engagement with a range of stakeholders to deliver on strategic priorities and ensure the evaluation of our programmes/interventions/events is in line with high quality standards - ‘what good looks like’.
Utilising knowledge of the latest thinking, research and identifying appropriate opportunities to ensure that we are continually pursing best practice, conducting horizon scanning activities as well as learning from others.

By providing comprehensive insights and actionable recommendations, you will significantly contribute to strategic decision-making, foster continuous improvement across the organisation, and help build a workplace environment that enables employees to perform at their best.
Key Accountabilities, responsibilities, and deliverables:
Support operational phases of the MoJ-wide People Survey, including mailbox management, intranet updates, diary scheduling, and communications coordination.
Coordinate Project Support Officers (PSOs), managing their time allocation across survey phases.
Identify and apply appropriate evaluation models tailored to programmes, ensuring consistency, best practice, and value for money.
Design insightful evaluation questions and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, using surveys, focus groups, and virtual workshops to gather meaningful data.
Analyse data from multiple sources (performance figures, survey responses), conduct baseline reporting, and use control groups to derive actionable insights and recommendations. produce compelling, visually appealing evaluation reports
Create timely, clear, and compelling evaluation reports highlighting programme impacts, success metrics, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
Effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, influencing decision-making and ensuring recommendations translate into tangible actions. Applying strong interpersonal skills to build and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
Operationalise strategic collaborations with the Cabinet Office and Big 5 colleagues to trial and enhance future People Survey elements.
Conduct ongoing research and horizon scanning to continuously integrate innovative evaluation techniques and best practices.
Advising stakeholders, influencing their approach to evaluation as a strategic tool, then developing and conducting evaluation activities.
Work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Skills:

Willingness to work towards professional qualifications, such as a Level 3 Apprenticeship.
