Job Title: White Goods Repair Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced White Goods Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and other white goods. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults in a variety of white goods, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and cookers.

Perform routine maintenance and servicing to extend the lifespan of appliances.

Replace faulty parts and ensure proper installation of new components.

Conduct electrical and mechanical testing to verify proper functioning.

Advise customers on appliance care, maintenance, and potential upgrades.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.

Follow safety procedures and industry regulations when handling electrical and gas appliances.

Keep up to date with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.

Work independently or as part of a team to meet service deadlines and customer expectations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in repairing white goods or household appliances.

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license (if field service is required).

Certification in appliance repair or relevant technical training is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with multiple brands and models of appliances.

PAT testing certificate/training
