This role reports into the Redeployment Support Manager (HEO) within HMCTS HR Operations and will work closely in conjunction with the wider HR Operations team. The role is responsible for supporting the administration of all people movement activity with a heavy focus on redeployment
The main purpose of the role will be to provide an effective level of support in the delivery of the national people movement and redeployment activity across HMCTS in line with timescales identified through the workstream.
Duties will include:
• Responsibility for planning and coordinating the end-to-end administration of people transition activity and redeployment process
• Co-ordination of redeployment support and preparation of resources for staff and line managers
• Be a point of contact to line managers and staff to answer queries and respond to queries
• Managing the redeployment mailboxes and coordinating responses
• Tracking progress of staff at each stage of the redeployment process
• Reviewing vacancies to identify potential roles to support people movement and redeployment activity
• Support the engagement with regions/OGDs as required to ensure opportunities are circulated appropriately
• Coordinate vacancy updates, collaborating with the business to ensure all required information is obtained to assess the suitability of vacancies against the resourcing needs
• Provide MI to the key stakeholders and redeployment manager
• Lead on the preparation of packs and coordinating the panels for competitive selection to ensure the redeployment principles are adhered to
Knowledge
The suitable candidate will have a knowledge of Civil Service HR processes and policies and the Restructuring, Redeployment and Redundancy Policy (RRR) (desirable)
Experience of working within a HR/ recruitment role with experience of managing large groups of individuals through change

Experience
• An understanding of Civil Service policies and processes dealing with organisational change
• Experience of working within an HR environment, and experience of managing change within an HR context

Resolution of queries submitted to central mailboxes from staff and managers supporting people movement and redeployment activity. Escalation of complex issues to Redeployment Support Manager or Redeployment Manager to ensure advice/guidance is sought to identify conclusion in accordance with protocol/policy/legal obligations.
This role works closely with the other Redeployment Officers in the team, Redeployment Support Manager and Redeployment Manager daily. Additionally, the role requires the ability to work autonomously to meet key deadlines. The National Selection and Redeployment Process is an agreed national approach to people movement for staff impacted by change, this role is required to work within that process to deliver people movement, redeployment and selection activity. Any identified areas of improvement should be discussed with the Redeployment Manager.
The role works closely with a range of key stakeholders across HR Operations and the wider business. Additionally, working closely with external key contacts is imperative. Being able to forge and maintain effective channels of communication is key with the following;
