Job Title: Technical Risk & Issues Analyst


Location: London / National

Successful applicants will be expected to be office based 3 days per week in any HMCTS Office (subject to business availability).

New recruits to the Civil Service joining MoJ are expected to join at the band minimum.

Existing Civil Servants applying on promotion, will usually be appointed on the salary minimum of the new pay band, or receive an increase of 10 percent on the current base salary, whichever is higher (This is restricted to the pay maximum of the new band).

Job Description:

As part of enabling effective risk management within DTS, the Technical Risk & Issues Analyst will be key resource in delivering value and protecting the business interests, reporting directly to the Risk & Issues Manager. The key focus of this role will be responsible for supporting the required stakeholder engagement including but not limited to support the identification, assessment, and management of technology and operational risks within government projects and services. Ensure compliance with government risk frameworks (e.g., Orange Book) and relevant IT security standards. Support proactive risk management in emerging technologies, including AI, by identifying potential ethical, security, and operational risks and ensuring robust controls are in place

We’re looking for an individual with technical understanding, Service Management/ITIL background and strong analytical, problem-solving, and service management experience who likes working with a broad range of stakeholders and users. You will also contribute to the wider community and share your skills and experiences with others across HMCTS, MOJ and the wider Government, as required.
