Help shape the voice of the Ministry of Justice and make a real impact across one of the UK’s most important public services.
At the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), we are at the heart of the justice system. Every day, our work helps protect the public, uphold the rule of law and ensure justice is fair and accessible. Our staff play a vital role in making this happen — and as a Content Producer, you’ll be central to how we connect, inform and inspire them.
Our intranet is the beating heart of internal communication at the MoJ. As a Content Producer, you’ll be responsible for creating, shaping and managing content that reaches thousands of colleagues across courts, prisons, probation, and legal services.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and stakeholders while never losing sight of quality. You’ll lead on content delivery, help set the standard for clear and accessible communication, and ensure our colleagues always have the information they need to do their jobs well.
Lead content delivery - Manage high volumes of creative, accurate and accessible content for the intranet.
Advise and influence - Work directly with senior leaders, business groups and comms teams to shape and deliver effective internal communications.

Champion best practice - Provide guidance and training to intranet users across the MoJ, ensuring consistency and quality.
Set the standard - Proof, edit and publish content that is engaging, accurate and aligned with corporate standards.
Balance priorities - Manage competing deadlines in a busy environment, always keeping sight of what matters most.
A proven track record of using Content Management Systems (ideally WordPress) to deliver high-quality digital content.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects under pressure, with the confidence to push back and set realistic expectations.
Strong editorial judgment, with the ability to shape complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Experience in intranet or internal communications, ideally across multiple agencies or large organisations.
Confidence in training and mentoring others, helping colleagues improve their digital and editorial skills.
The ability to work independently, make high-impact decisions, and represent the MoJ intranet team at all levels.
This is more than a content role — it’s about making the MoJ work better for its people. The content you produce and manage will directly support thousands of colleagues in delivering justice every day. You’ll join a small but influential team where your expertise and judgment will be relied upon, and you’ll have the freedom to shape how we engage and communicate across the department.
If you’re ready to use your digital and editorial skills to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
